Quality I've had this case for over 6 mo's. The touch-thru screen cover was a must. I work in healthcare and I needed a case that could be wiped clean often. This case doesn't disappoint. I have some superficial scratches on the back, but the screen cover is surprisingly scratch resistant. The iTouch itself still looks brand new. The volume rocker is tricky to access, but manageable. The case is slim, smooth in hand/pocket, and the cover only minimally affects the touch screen's sensitivity (you maybe have to touch it 5-10% more firmly). People sometimes don't realize it's in a case. The only downside is that I have some scratches on the back but I would much rather have them vs having them on my iTouch. Quality I'm very pleased with this case. The new iPod touch fits perfectly between the two layers of protection. The first layer is a hard-shell touch screen case and the second/back layer is a crystal clear shell that snaps into the plastic casing. There is a hole for the light-meter on the front and perfect opening for all the openings like the headphone jack and the on/off switch.
I had other cases before this for my first generation iPod touch but I got this for the new 3rd generation last month and it works great. I would highly recommend it if you want a simple slim design case that offer a full protection for the screen " the most important part of your iPod touch" - Excellent! (Posted on 9/20/09)

Quality I've had this case for about 1yr now.
Dropped my iPod Touch at least 5 times - about 3 of which, on a hard surface...ceramic from at least 5ft, laminate wood flooring, pavement.
Only slight scratches on the back. Still fine.
Overall a GREAT case. SO GLAD I bought it.
Touch screen works fine, haven't had any problems.

Quality The case is solid and fancy... for $30 bucks, it's worth it. I wish i purchased it earlier.
It's nice how the case is clear, and the quality of the case is not even comparable to Chinese material. 5-star quality!

Quality Alright guys just in case you think the website hides all the crap reviews...this is your proof!
I saw all the reviews and I told myself let's do it up, so I bought the case. At first when I applied it there was a lot of moisture in it and it was getting damp, so I took it out, cleaned it and put it back in and this time it was a charm. The case fits amazingly snug, and it looks amazing that I had to keep looking at it non stop for about 30 minutes. The feel, the look, the covering of the front is all perfect. In terms of this "Xylo" technology, whether that mumbo jumbo is as intense as it sounds, it sure works as good as it sounds. The response is absolutely amazing, and for people like me who have rough fingers it makes sliding my finger on the screen even easier than before!
The only down side about this amazing case is that it blocks the volume rockers very well, so in order to press the volume you need to usually hit it at an angle when your hand is holding your touch from behind.
All in all, the little disadvantages are completely outweighed by the advantages of this case, and I recommend it for all! - This case is the best (Posted on 1/9/09)

Quality After my first iPod got horribly scratched up I have always looked for the best cases. My iPod Classic had an ivySkin case - scratch resistant, hard, clear case and I was looking for the same sort of case for my new Touch. After much research and not wanting to bother with screen protector films and things like that I decided on the IvySkin Touch-Thru case. This case is perfect. Its thin, fits tight right over the Touch, its scratch resistant, no trouble accessing ports and it *is* touch through. I love it. Quality Although I have tried other cases that are on the market for the iPod Touch 2G, I gotta tell ya that this one by far is the most and the best protection for the iPod Touch. Without a doubt, it lives up to it reputation for being solid, sharp, and totally functional. I wasn't sure how the cover for the screen would fare or how 'stable' it would be, but I have had this case on my Touch 2G for 2 weeks now, and I am 100% satisfied on not just it's stability and toughness, but it's overall look, design and it 's fit too... Even the way the back 'locks' at the lower end, it's a tight connection, but still easy enough to open to take the iPod out for a brief minute or two to 'Polish' it..
The folks at Ivyskin have an absolutely "top knotch" case, and in my humble opinion, dollar for dollar against all other cases, the most and the best "Bang for the Buck" on the market!! Period! - perfect iPod touch case (Posted on 12/19/08)

Quality This case is simply the best on the market..it has a high gloss Clear finish, and rubberized on the inside which helps hold your touch in place. This case protects the unit all around even the screen is covered by a solid hard plastic, so you can keep that shiny metal on the back of the iTouch scratch free! I take mine out every so often to just clean the corners of the case. You can easily charge your unit with the case on, and it looks great on your unit! I think that the only drawback is the price, but when you think about how much you spent on your unit...it makes it all the better! Quality If you have an iPod Touch 2G then you should get this case. It fits perfectly over my Touch, I have access to all the side buttons and it keeps the entire shell protected not just the back like most cases. I would highly recommend this case.

The Front screen guard of this case is made from a scratch resistant material and the back of the case is UV coated. Although it is not 100% scratch proof, it will still provide a great protection for your iPod touch.

There is a black frame that matches the design of the iPod touch's screen. It does not "cut-off" any text or graphics as it is following the current black frame of the iPod touch

- I now have two of these cases on my kids’ two news iPods. They look great, and work very well so far. Occasionally, one sees a Moiré effect that resembles what a drop of moisture might look like if trapped in between the case and the screen, and yet when I pry it apart, it's dry as a bone. Any suggestions how to avoid this distracting issue?

Sure, Be sure to clean the iPod and the inside of the case with Windex and try applying a bit of baby power on a cleaning cloth and rub it inside the case. It may sound strange and it works.

We would recommend removeing the any type of screen/body protectors. The Retro3G case covers the full body and the screen guard is part of the case so there is not need to have a separate film.

All you need to do is to pry it apart. The front and back pieces are easily separated which opens the case.
